Round Table is a global movement that promotes friendship, fellowship, and community service among young men aged 18 to 40 (though age limits may vary by nation). The Round Table movement is non-political and non-sectarian, encouraging individuals from diverse backgrounds to collaborate for the betterment of their communities while fostering international friendships.

This movement exists because of small local clubs spread around the world. These are then organized into National Associations.

Round Table International ist das Bindeglied zwischen all diesen Verbänden, und der wichtigste Bezugspunkt für die Ausrichtung und Weiterentwicklung dieser Bewegung.

    • stärken und Ideenauszutauschen. Persönliche Weiterentwicklung: Möglichkeiten, Führungs- und Organisationsfähigkeiten auszubauen.

  Organisatorische Struktur

  • • Local Clubs: Round Table clubs operate in cities or regions, organizing meetings and community events.
    • National Associations: Local clubs are part of a national body that coordinates activities across the country.
    • International Level: RTI acts as the umbrella organization for national associations, connecting members globally. The Associations are organised into  regions.

      Internationale Veranstaltungen

      RTI chairs annual meetings, conventions, and events where members from around the world gather to discuss initiatives, celebrate successes, and strengthen bonds.

      Mitgliedschaft

      Die Mitgliedschaft ist in der Regel Männern zwischen 18 und 40 Jahren vorbehalten, wobei der Staffelstab an jüngere Generationen weitergegeben werden soll. In einigen Regionen gibt es angeschlossene Organisationen für ehemalige Mitglieder (z. B.41 Club).

      Motto

      Das Motto von Round Table International lautet:

      „Adopt, Adapt, Improve“ Dies
      spiegelt das Engagement der Organisation für kontinuierliche Verbesserung im persönlichen, beruflichen und gesellschaftlichen Bereich wider.

      Geschichte

      Ursprünglich eine nationale Organisation des Vereinigten Königreichs, breitete sie sich zunächst landesweit und dann auch auf dem Kontinent aus. Im Jahr 1948 wurde eine internationale Organisation gegründet.

      In 1961 it merged with WOCO - Weltrat der Service-Clubs. Refounded in 1991, it once again became an independant organisation.
