Service Name: Deux petits pas pour un cœur – Two little steps for a heart

This association aims to finance heart surgery for underprivileged children. This includes the complete medical journey – including the period of recovery, and welcoming the child on their successful return home.

In 2024/25, they reached their objective of raising €36,000 for the cause. This allowed them to finance the surgery and recovery for three children. The initiative was headed by RT France 132 Melun, who promoted the cause within the French Association. Funds were raised from several events, including:

– Duck Race de la Région 5,
– Christmas in Orléans
– Cognac sells within Cognac city
– Oktoberfest of Sarreguemines,
– Rugby Tournament La Rochelle,

Besides helping out children and bringing the RT community closer, Service Projects like this expand the visibility of the organisation, in an extremely positive light.
