The SEM TM - Southern European Mediterranean Tablers Meetings (réunions des tablées méditerranéennes du sud de l'Europe) for 2024 was held in Malta. Attendees experienced the legendary warm hospitality of Maltese Tablers with ice-cold beers. Suncream was a must! The event was mainly hosted at the Qawra Palace Resort and Spa.
Vendredi matin
Nous nous sommes rendus sur la côte pour embarquer sur notre propre bateau affrété. Nous avons nagé, plongé et bu au Blue Lagoon près de l’île de Comino.
Vendredi soir
Nous avons rencontré Neptune dans sa propre brasserie ! Une fête avec dégustation de bière à la brasserie Farsons.
Réunion d’affaires
The SEM AGM was chaired by the SEM Regional Chairman, Christos Demetriades.
A workshop was chaired by the RTI Pesident Marc Germeshausen and the RTI Vice President, with the subject “What is Round Table”.
Gala
Le gala s’est déroulé dans le cadre exceptionnel de The Villa, by XARA Collection, à Balluta. Le président a décerné des prix à l’association SEM de l’année, à la table de l’année et au tablier de l’année. L’événement a également été l’occasion d’introniser un nouveau membre au sein de Round Table Malta.
Une afterparty a suivi, au cours de laquelle un membre de Round Table était le DJ principal.
Promotion de l’événement
Mascot: Whiza, is a Maltese Wall Lizard (Filfola lizard). He usually hangs out in Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, rocky shores, arable land, pastureland, and rural gardens. Usually when other males enter its territory, he puffs up and raises his head. A similar behaviour is seen when they attract females. When hanging out with Tablers, he loves nothing more than relaxing by a pool with an ice-cold beer. A Pool Lizard by nature! His life mantra is “YOLO!! …. But gently.”
