Quatalagor (RTFR)

The Quatalagor is the umbrella alliance of four Round Table–family clubs in France: Table Ronde Française (TRF), Club 41 Français, Ladies’ Circle France (LCF), और Club Agora France. The alliance promotes friendship, solidarity, and community service across generations, creating a shared “family” identity and encouraging inter-club cooperation.

इतिहास

The term “Quatalagor” (sometimes styled “QuaTaLaGor”) emerged to formalise the rapprochement among the four French clubs. A documented milestone notes that on 28 October (late 1980s), national presidents met in Vernon to affirm this joint identity—“the Quatalagor is born”—with future directors and presidential chains referencing it. calameo.com🔗

Structure and coordination

The Quatalagor functions primarily as a cooperative alliance rather than a rigid legal entity. Internal materials describe it as an informal structure bringing together each club’s national leadership (e.g., VPs/PNs/PPNs) to coordinate common positions and actions. club41hirson.free.fr🔗

Activities and collaboration

Across France, the alliance facilitates joint events, shared campaigns, and inter-club fellowship, reinforcing that members of one club are part of a broader “family.” Local and regional groups (e.g., Quatalagor Nord) organise cross-club social and service activities under the Quatalagor banner. Some public descriptions cite 10,000+ members across the four clubs in France (aggregate), illustrating the scale of the extended network. फेसबुक🔗

Solidarity arm — Association Amitié Assistance (RTFR)

Within the Quatalagor, Amitié Assistance (AA) serves as the official instrument of solidarity, supporting members and families in difficulty in France and abroad. Official materials and presentations (including historical ones) position AA as the Quatalagor’s humanitarian arm.

Terminology and usage

French club sites consistently present the Quatalagor as the federation/“family” identity joining TRF, Club 41, LCF, and Agora in shared ethics and service. The name appears with varying capitalisation in French sources (e.g., Quatalagor / QuaTaLaGor).

Notes for editors:

    • If we want a timeline box, the Vernon meeting (“Quatalagor naît”) is a strong anchor; the Calaméo booklet suggests late 1980s—ensure the exact year = 1989 on your page if we verify the date line inside the booklet context. calameo.com🔗

    • We could add regional examples (e.g., Quatalagor Nord) to show local coordination, and a short line quantifying combined membership (“10,000+”) with a note that this figure is approximate and sourced from public social descriptions. फेसबुक🔗
