गोल घेरा was an अप्रैल फूल idea posted on RTI’s social media on April 1st, 2021. The post read as follows:

JOINT STATEMENT FROM ROUND TABLE INTERNATIONAL AND LADIES’ CIRCLE INTERNATIONAL

We are proud to announce that after significant deliberations, a joint decision has been taken that our two great organizations are to merge in the coming year. We believe that significant synergies will be unlocked on a local, national and global level and that we will be stronger joined in as one.

This journey will commence in September 2021 and is expected to be completed a year later. During this period, the finer points and transitional provisions will be communicated.
