Nestled in the heart of Central Africa, Cameroon is a nation celebrated for its cultural diversity, linguistic duality, and a strong sense of community. With influences from both Francophone and Anglophone traditions, it is a country where connections and collaboration thrive—making it a natural home for the Round Table movement. Round Table Cameroon was officially inaugurated in 2019, marking the beginning of a new chapter in service and personal development.

The journey of Round Table Cameroon began in 2015, when the first contact meeting laid the foundation for what would become a dynamic young association. Today, RT Cameroon consists of two Tables, one in Bamenda and the other in Buea, already showing its commitment to local engagement and national unity. The association views Tabling as a powerful tool for self-improvement while giving back to the community, channeling its efforts toward uplifting the less privileged and improving livelihoods through meaningful initiatives.

Though still in its early stages, Round Table Cameroon has already made a strong impression within the movement. Known for its warm hospitality, dedication, and vibrant Table spirit, its members have shown that they are eager to grow, connect, and contribute. With such an energetic and determined foundation, RT Cameroon is well on its way to becoming a pillar of both local and international Tabling. Watch out for these guys in the years to come.

Community Service Project

Fish Pond

RT Cameroon is embarking on a Fish Farming project as an initiative to improve food sufficiency in the North West Region of the country. The feasibility study including the impact assessment was carried out in 2021. However, the project has not commenced because of lack of funds given the difficulties the region is witnessing at this moment.

Tree Planting Project

Another project was the Tree Planting Project, which RT Cameroon has successfully carried out and still has many more to do. The next phase of the project will be planting 1000 fruit trees in schools around the country, but particularly in the Towns of Buea and Bamenda, where we have active clubs.

Clubhouse

The initiative for the search for a clubhouse was also begun, and with Tr. Philippe advocating to be of support, this will be an accomplishment in the near future.

Save the Girl Child Initiative

Together with the Ladies Circle Bamenda, the RT Cameroon has co-sponsored the Save the girl child initiative, which is a project done by LC Bamenda, giving assistance to young and single mothers. Some of the young ladies aged between 12–18 years who become mothers suffer several complications and are abandoned by their families and those who impregnated them. Sending them to school or training them on a skill helps them take care of the kids and realign themselves in life. Together with BIG STEPS OUTREACH NETWORK, RT Cameroon has given training to young Cameroonians in several skills and on Reproductive Health to teenagers.

Administration

RT CAMEROON is officially a registered NGO in Cameroon with administrative approval to carry out their activities on the entire national territory. As an NGO, RT Cameroon has conducted several activities.

    • 2020 – Sponsoring of 25 young Cameroonians for the Academic year 2020–2021
    • Cooperation agreements the Buea Municipality through the Town’s Mayor
    • Cooperation with the Divisional Office of Buea Sub Division.
    • Partnership and Cooperation with Zoe Health Foundation
    • Cooperation with Lyonga Noella’s Foundation

Rondel

The border uses the colours and placement of the tricolour flag of Cameroon. The five-pointed star is too inherited from the center of the national flag. The charge features a roaring lion with the same three colours as before.
