Winter Knights is a flagship community service initiative of Round Table Southern Africa (RTSA) aimed at supporting vulnerable communities during the harsh Southern African winter. Despite Africa’s general climate, regions within Southern Africa can see temperatures drop to as low as ‑15°C (5°F), with snowfall in some areas.

The initiative began in Scottburgh, KwaZulu-Natal, in 2010 where Tablers stood in cold conditions with minimal clothing to raise awareness of the winter struggles faced by the less fortunate. This symbolic act evolved into a movement known for trolley fills, door-to-door blanket drives, tinned food collections, and corporate partnerships.

In 2023 alone, over R2.8 million (€142,598.00) worth of donations and goods were collected. The project continues to grow, symbolising the passion, innovation, and community commitment that define the Tabler spirit.
