The Netherlands is known for its open-minded society, strong emphasis on collaboration, and deep-rooted culture of community engagement. With a history of international trade, innovation, and social responsibility, it’s no surprise that Round Table The Netherlands (Nederlandsche Tafelronde) has flourished as a key part of the global Tabling movement.

The first Dutch Table was founded in Utrecht on June 7, 1946, by Henk Bruna, who discovered Round Table during a work placement in Reading, England. Although he initially planned to introduce the movement in 1935, the outbreak of World War 2 delayed his efforts. When Round Table finally took root in the Netherlands, it quickly gained momentum, expanding into a nationwide network with approximately 200 Tables and thousands of members.

As a highly active international association, Round Table The Netherlands embraces the core principles of fellowship, self-development, and community service. Dutch Tablers take pride in dynamic discussions, professional networking, and impactful service projects, making a real difference both locally and globally. Being part of Round Table International, RTNL fosters strong connections beyond national borders, ensuring that Dutch Tablers remain at the forefront of global Tabling initiatives.

With a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and tradition, Round Table The Netherlands continues to be a driving force within the movement, uniting passionate individuals who are committed to personal growth and meaningful service.
