Travel exchanges are used to maintain and improve relationships between Associations, and to introduce newer Tablers to the amazing adventure that is international fellowship.
Different Associations have unique strategies in how these Travel exchanges (or Golden Tickets) are distributed amongst their members.
Round Table Switzerland
The shotgun for Exchange Agreements is raffled once a year at the national HYM to the clubs that are participating. As RTCH got roundabout 20 EAs with roundabout 40 seats most of the participating clubs get a EA-partner country for the following year in October and try find a club member to join that AGM. From January on the IRO opens the remaining tickets for every swiss tabler, some days before the registration deadline they are finally open for the National Board to order. With this strategy most of the tickets find somebody to go and most of the clubs do have a great challange to get somebody to a country they did not think about before.
Round Table Denmark
Members who have joined within twelve months may apply for a โGolden Ticketโ.
Round Table France
Once the yearly schedule is confirmed, the Board with the IRO defines its Travel strategy for the year, by means of two different frameworks :
โ 1 raffle : the proceeds of this raffle goes to the national Charity project,
โ โ 1 form online via Tabler.World with prioritization rules + targeted communication.
Round Table Malta
Preference is given to Tablers who home hosted during the previous National AGM.
