Every year in late June or early July, RT19 Konstanz, in close cooperation with RT19 Kreuzlingen, hosts an international boating event on the beautiful Lake Constance. The event traditionally takes place on a Saturday and brings together Round Table clubs from all around the lake from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
After announcing a GPS location — usually in the iconic Konstanz Bay — the boats begin to arrive one by one and are moored together side by side. As the flotilla grows, so does the festive atmosphere: music plays, people swim in the clear lake water, enjoy cold drinks, and engage in lively fellowship. It quickly turns into a unique floating party with international flair.
As evening approaches, the boats slowly return to their respective home ports. But the gathering is far from over: the participants traditionally meet again later that evening in the nightlife districts of either Kreuzlingen or Konstanz. There, they enjoy a joint dinner and continue the celebration late into the night — making new memories, friendships, and stories to tell until the next year’s gathering.
