For 70 years, this Association made up of one club has survived and thrived in the most remote corner of Round Table. This alone is testament to the great Tabling spirit of these brothers in Paramaribo. The Table was formed on 14th July 1955 by Dutch Tablers. The country was known as Dutch Guiana, thus Round Table Dutch Guiana was established. Following the independence of the country, the association was renamed to reflect the new name of the state — Round Table Suriname.
The close connection between RT Suriname and RT The Netherlands remains to this day.
