Round Table is a volunteering and charitable club that promotes fellowship of members and support its local community via charitable work. The Association of Round Tables in Hong Kong Charitable Foundation (香港圓桌會慈善基金) was formed on 27/3/1979, and obtained tax exemption status under section 88 of the inland revenue ordinance from the Inland Revenue Department of Hong Kong (IR File No: 91/1604) on 28/6/1979.
The Chinese characters in the middle of the emblem are 香港, which means Hong Kong in English.
