Region: Central and Eastern Europe Region
Category: Service Project
Period: 2025 — Ongoing
The CEE Basic Needs Project is an international Round Table initiative, uniting all clubs across Central and Eastern Europe Region to fund high-impact service projects around the world that meet essential human needs — food, water, health, education, and housing.
Inspired by Round Table Austria’s 90/10 model, the project aims to encourage every association or every club to dedicate a part of its charity funds to international projects, leveraging the power of strong currencies to deliver life-changing results where they’re needed most.
The CEE CSO collects projects, nominates up to 3 projects, then publishes the projects to organize funding, then helps to transfer the funds, and supports local tables with the execution of the projects. Lastly, the CEE CSO reports the results to the CEE Councilors at the Regional Meeting on the RTIWM for full transparency.
Through this shared commitment, the members of the region aim to maximize impact, support local Tables in delivering meaningful aid, build lasting friendships, and strengthen the Round Table spirit worldwide and in their region.
For additional funding, the CEE Board 2025/26 created a Coin and a pin, which will be sold at all international RT Events.
