You wouldn’t be far off in describing RTEE6 Pärnu as the free spirit among Round Table Estonia clubs. A club that is drawn to what’s fun and voluntary, and decidedly uninterested in anything boring or obligatory. This means the club is fiercely loyal to its traditions, such as organizing and promoting Kalapäevad (Fish Days), visiting old tablers on December 31st, delivering long and short reports, and maintaining the “Jug of Sins” (patukann). At the same time, their meetings might resemble a village fair more than the academically structured sessions seen in other clubs.

New guests might be surprised by the club’s €10 penalty unit. However, the president issues fines only for serious breaches and what qualifies as “un-tablerlike behavior” is entirely up to each year’s president.

Signature Tradition – Kalapäevad (Fish Days)

RTEE6’s most iconic tradition is the annual Kalapäevad event, which dates back to the club’s early years. Held in mid-February, it’s one of RTE’s most well-attended events. Participants enjoy crisp winter air and a sizzling party that runs into the early morning hours. The highlight? An exquisite seafood spread that even non-fish lovers can’t resist.
