Reflecting on the RTEE documentary “From Zero – RTE” premiered on 12 November 2022, we gather from memories that today’s RTEE 1 might just as well have become RT Estonia 2 Tallinn. Also, even a club from Tartu had a chance to become RTEE 1, had events taken a different turn. It’s known that both Finnish and Swedish Tablers brought the spirit of Round Table to Estonia around the same time. Still, “what if” is a tricky road. The title RTEE 1 and the unofficial status as Estonia’s flagship club belong to Tallinn’s oldest Table, which for the past 35 years has actively carried the values and principles of Round Table and set an example in tradition and innovation for others to follow.

RTEE 1 is known for:

    • A consistently high number of active members.
    • Strong succession and recruitment.
    • Club nights that attract not only members but guests from other Tables.
    • Frequent meetings with 20+ attendees — often requiring seating limits!

Legacy and Contribution

An impressive 20 of RTEE 1’s members, past and present, have served on the RTEE  Board.

Flagship Event – RTEE  Anniversary Gala

RTEE 1 is best known for organizing the annual Round Table Estonia Anniversary Gala every 3rd Saturday of January — a must-attend event for every Estonian Tabler. The gala celebrates the birth and endurance of Round Table Estonia.
