Looking back at the history of RTEE 2, it stands alongside RTEE 1 Tallinn and RTEE 3 Tartu as one of the founding clubs that established the Round Table movement in Estonia in 1990. As recalled in the RTEE documentary “From Zero – RTE” premiered on 12th November 2022, the founding process happened simultaneously with the other two clubs. Although RTEE 2’s charter was officially signed about six months after RTEE 1, the club remains one of the fundamental pillars of Round Table Estonia. RTEE 2 has consistently embodied Round Table values, and despite undergoing a rejuvenation in recent years, it has managed to maintain that spirit to this day.
Club Traditions
Among the oldest traditions maintained by RTEE 2 is the Round Table Estonia Golf Tournament, held annually in September. The event gathers golf enthusiasts from across the country and has even caught the attention of a well-known socialite and celebrity after it crossed the news threshold due to some cheeky promotion by the Tablers. If you’re curious about the club or RTEE history, RTEE 2 brothers are always ready to share stories and introduce you to the legacy of RTEE Golf.
