International Community

The club is an enthusiastic member of the Euro 2 community, having hosted the numbers meeting in 1999, 2009 and 2019.

Club Logo Symbolism

The club log features a Viking, a popular Icelandic motif, shown wearing a gray helmet and thick facial hair, revealing only his eyes. He has an orange tunic, brown pants, and is holding a large sword in his right hand. In his left hand, he holds a shield with the rondel of RT Iceland.

The logo is often modified to commemorate events or anniversaries, sometimes by having the Viking hold a banner.

Traditional meeting — Skötulíki

Every year around early december(generally second weekend) they host a meeting with the traditional food of skate. Eating of skate is a common tradition in Iceland during The Mass of St. Thorlak which is 23. of december. The meeting has plenty of guests coming from all around Iceland to enjoy this feast together and tabling throughout the night.
