History and Founding
The club was officially chartered on November 8, 1982, with the aim of promoting fellowship, community service, and international understanding among young professionals in the united States. The initiative to establish Round Table in the United States was supported by members of Round Table Germany, which later became the club’s international godparent.
The founding chairman was Peter Reimers, who played a central role in organizing the club and establishing its presence in New York City.
