Zurich Airport, entrance to the A Gates, ground level, directly in front of the Rolex Boutique (what a coincidence), Switzerland – special hint for the International travellers: It’s just one escalator downwards from the Business Lounge.
This location is home to one of several Visitor Pin Books placed at notable meeting points around the world. These books serve as informal landmarks for travelling members of the Round Table family and act as a visible symbol of international fellowship.
Story
The idea for the Zurich Pin Book was born in 2025. It was developed through a joint initiative by the National President of Round Table Switzerland Mirco Miller and the National President of Club 41 Switzerland Reto Luginbühl. Their shared vision was to establish a permanent point of connection at Zurich Airport where members of both associations could leave a trace of their travels and strengthen the spirit of fellowship across borders.
The idea became reality on 15.01.2026, when the book was officially placed at Villa Antinori Café and Wine Bar. On that day, two Tablers from RTCH 19 Kreuzlingen installed the book while enjoying two espressos at the café. During this moment, they shared the story, tradition and heritage of the pin book with the café crew and several interested travellers who had gathered around, turning the placement into a lively and memorable occasion.
The guest book is open to all Tablers and Circlers visiting Switzerland on any occasion, whether travelling for business, leisure or fellowship. Visitors are warmly invited to stop by, browse through the pages and leave their own greetings for fellow members who will pass through Zurich Airport in the future. Each entry becomes part of a shared story that connects clubs, countries and generations of members.
Guests are encouraged to write a short message that includes the date of their visit, their travel destination, and personal greetings. Members are also invited to sign their message with their club and country by placing a club or association pin alongside their entry or on the book cover, allowing others to visually trace the wide reach of the Round Table and Club 41 network. Over time, the book becomes a living record of journeys, friendship, and memorable encounters.
The history and continuity of these visits are safeguarded by Round Table Switzerland. When the book is filled, a representative of the association will carefully replace it with a new volume. The completed book is then preserved in the association’s archives, where it remains as a historical record of international fellowship and shared moments at this unique airport meeting place.
Located at Villa Antinori Café and Wine Bar, the pin book offers a welcoming pause for members passing through Zurich Airport. Its prominent position at the entrance to the A Gates makes it easily accessible and a fitting place to reflect, connect, and contribute to a tradition that continues to unite members from around the world.
