Each Local Table within Round Table France is managed by an elected board responsible for organizing, coordinating, and maintaining the spirit and operations of the Table. The board ensures good governance, fellowship, and alignment with the values of Round Table.
Local Table President
The Local Table President is an elected member chosen by his peers to lead and coordinate the activities of his Table for a one-year term. He serves as the face of the Table at the local level and plays a key role in its organization, energy, and member cohesion.
His main responsibilities include:
LEADERSHIP & COORDINATION
The President manages the Table’s daily operations. He organizes and chairs meetings, ensures objectives are met, and that all decisions reflect the values of Round Table France. He also makes sure every member is actively involved in the smooth running of the Table.
ACTIVITY PLANNING
He plans and oversees local initiatives such as charity projects, social events, and meetings with other Tables. Each project should embody the Round Table spirit while responding to local community needs.
MOTIVATION & TEAM SPIRIT
The President plays a central role in fostering unity and motivation among members. He ensures everyone feels valued and encouraged to participate, while helping members develop their skills. He upholds and transmits the core Round Table values of fellowship, service, and self-improvement.
REPRESENTATION
The President officially represents his Table within the region and Round Table France. He participates in regional and national events, such as the Comité National des Régions (CNR), ensuring his Table remains connected with others both regionally and internationally.
MANAGEMENT & TRANSITION
At the end of his term, the President ensures a smooth handover to his successor. He passes on key documents, ongoing projects, and his experience to maintain continuity and momentum within the Table.

Local Table Vice-President
• Assists the President in his duties and ensures continuity in his absence.
• Prepares to become President the following year.
• Often oversees the organization of specific events or local projects.
Local Table Secretary
• Manages the Table’s administration.
• Drafts meeting minutes and facilitates communication among members.
• Handles official correspondence and follows up on decisions.
Local Table Treasurer
• Responsible for managing the Table’s finances.
• Handles membership fees, event expenses, and presents regular financial reports to members.
Local Table IRO (International Relations Officer)
• Promotes international relations within the local Table.
• Encourages members to participate in Round Table International events and fosters exchanges with other Tables abroad.
Local Table Sergeant-at-Arms
• Ensures order and protocol are respected during meetings and events.
• Brings humor and a light touch, ensuring meetings remain both disciplined and enjoyable.
Local Table “Popotier”
• A convivial role in charge of organizing meals and social gatherings during meetings.
• Creates a warm atmosphere by managing the logistical and culinary aspects of events.
• Plays a key role in fostering fellowship and camaraderie, often animating moments such as the traditional “3 minutes of speech.”
