Cookery Competition (RTMT)

The Cookery Competition is an occasional summertime event organised by Round Table Malta 2.

Rules

The organisers would set up work stations consisting of a table and a gas-powered hob. Participants provide cookware and cutlery.

Teams of 3 to 4 members each receive a box of surprise ingredients. They would need to prepare a three-course meal by using as many of the ingredients as possible in a limited amount of time.

An independent adjudicator, typically a professional chef, would judge the dishes based on some predefined criteria. The winning team would hold the trophy for a year, and possibly a small prize.

The trophy for the Cookery Competition was sponsored by Mr Kenneth Micallef, a former member of RTMT2.
