15th April: RTI President Simon Cusens and LCI President Sylvia Mwansa sign the first Side by Side agreement.
July: EMATM 2006 Malta hosted in Malta.
During the EMA meeting John Messina was honoured with the title of Tabler of the Year — EMA region.
Alex Abela (RTMT 2) elected as RTI Treasurer.
2007
The National Rondel was redesigned to include the king at the top, after RTI had called for all associations to reflect a common rondel for all countries (2007 or 2006).
