The National Council of Round Table Malta consists of:

National Executive
The Executive consists of the following National statutory roles:
President
-
- Represents the Association in Malta and abroad as required.
- Sets the Agenda for calls and chairs meetings of the National Council.
- Sets the Agenda for calls and chairs General Meetings of the Association.
- Assigns other roles and chooses who will carry out other obligations of the Association, including updating the online presence of the Association (Webmaster); design, procure, stock, sell and update the Association’s merchandise and Regalia (Regalia Officer); focus on the future expansion of the Association, and other roles he deems necessary.
- Has the capacity to launch an appeal for the urgent collection of monies for relief in the case of a disaster or emergency. Such an appeal shall be scrutinised by the rest of the National Council once activated.
- Considers scheduling and organising a Half-Year Meeting.
- Presents at the Annual General Meeting an overview of the past year.
- Appoints subcommittees as required, informs the Council accordingly, and present or call for their reports to be presented at the next Annual General Meeting.

Vice President
- Support the President by stepping in when he is unavailable.
- To support the agenda of the National Council during the year.
- Develop policies that ensure continuity and long-term goals of the Association.
- Coordinate the organisation of and convene the Annual General Meeting.
International Relations Officer (IRO)

- Represents the Association internationally.
- Acts as liaison between Round Table International and IROs from other Associations or Tables, both local and foreign.
- Collects and disseminates to the local IROs all information regarding international events and Round Table travel opportunities.
- Endeavours to attend as many international events as possible to represent and promote Round Table Malta.
- Presents to the National Council a report for each of his travels.
- Chairs a Travel committee and observe all other duties as laid down in the rules under the heading „The Association Travel Fund‟.
- Attends at least one main RTI event, and a minimum of one other international event to represent and promote RTMT at his own expense.
- Promotes events organised by the Association in international communities.
- Assists and support foreign Tablers in Malta.
- Handles the Association’s Social media, unless this role is handed over to someone else.
- Presents, at the Annual General Meeting, information on used and upcoming travel exchanges, his own travels, other Round Table travel, information on the recipients of grants, and present information on travel opportunities of the incoming year.
Treasurer

- Be responsible for the maintenance of the financial records of the Association, the collection of entrance, Capitation fees and other sources of income and the payment of all accounts and expenses.
- Shall ensure that the Association has unhindered access to its funds and bank accounts.
- At his discretion, withhold any payment and refer it to the National Council and shall be entitled to call for any explanation from any member on any matter concerning the financial aspects of the Association’s affairs.
- To ensure conformity of the legal status of the Association with relevant authorities by submitting documentation as required.
- Present at the Annual General Meeting, annual accounts, budget for the incoming year, and propose the Association Capitation Fee for the incoming year.
Secretary

- Upon instruction by the President, give notice of all meetings of the National Council and General Meetings of the Association and be responsible for all the arrangements thereof.
- Be responsible for the recording and archival of the proceedings (minutes) of all statutory meetings of the Association.
- Consider and report on all matters concerning these rules and the standing orders hereinafter contained.
- Be responsible for the interpretation of these rules, the said Standing Orders and Rules of Constituent Tables, subject to the right of appeal to the National Council.
- Keep this document updated, report the changes at the next General Meeting, and make the latest version reasonably available to all members.
- In consultation with other officers of the Association have power to act and represent in all matters regarding the commencement or defence of legal proceedings by or on behalf of the Association or any constituent Table.
- Present at the Annual General Meeting, collated information regarding the number of members in each Table at the end of the year, the number of new inductions, numbers of exited members and their reasons for leaving the Association, and the average age of the Association.
Table Representatives
When the Association is formed of multiple Tables, each Table shall appoint a delegate from its own Council who is automatically recognized as an additional full voting member of the National Council and shall vote on his Table’s behalf.
Board Assistants
Immediate Past President, Webmaster, Regalia Officer, Shop Keeper, Recruitment Officer, Convenor, or any other roles as deemed appropriate for the term
Should a member of the Association be elected to the Round Table International (RTI) Board, this member shall be automatically co-opted to the National Council in an honorary non-voting capacity.
The following are examples of recent Board Assistant roles.
Clubhouse Custodian
The Clubhouse Custodian is responsible for the care, maintenance, and proper use of Dar il-Mejda, the Round Table Malta clubhouse. He ensures that the premises are kept in good order, ready for meetings and events, and that the traditions, decorum, and symbols of the association are preserved within the space, as well as ensuring that there are no conflicts in using the premises.
Public Relations Officer (PRO)
The Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing and promoting the public image of Round Table Malta. He ensures consistent communication across all media, fosters relationships with external partners and the public, and upholds the association’s values and reputation through strategic messaging and outreach.
Data Manager
The Data Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate and secure records of Round Table Malta’s membership and administrative data on Tabler.World. He ensures that all information is properly managed, updated, and stored in compliance with internal policies and data protection standards, supporting the efficient functioning of the association.
