When Round Table International’s first AGM was held in Klagenfurt on 16th September 1991, all Round Table International Associations that were present signed The Charter of Round Table International, and elected the aforementioned parties as their first officers and General Secretary.

The event is considered to be the Rebirth of Round Table International.

Charter of Round Table International

The charter took place on Monday, 16th September at the Parkhotel, Klagenfurt, Carinthia — Austria.

The formalities started at 15:00, where guests were welcomed with military music.
At 15:30, the Round Table Austria National President, Martin Uitz gave a welcome address.
The official signing of the Charter took place. All Round Table International Associations that were present signed The Charter of Round Table International, and elected the aforementioned parties as their first officers and General Secretary. This was followed by the induction of Waldo Thole as International President and the induction of Cess Verwey as International Vice President. Ian DeCesare (Round Table Malta) led a toast to the newly formed Round Table International.

The proceedings were closed off, accompanied by a military band. After the ceremony, the attendees continued at a welcome party.
