Travel Support in the CEE Region

This overview highlights the various ways in which associations within the CEE Region support their members in attending national and international Round Table events. As each association has its own regulations and application procedures, members should contact their National IRO for detailed information and to apply for any of the programmes listed below.

Round Table Austria

Travel Grant

Round Table Austria offers a travel grant of €250 per trip to members attending international Round Table events. The aim is to reduce financial barriers and encourage participation within the international Round Table network. Recipients are required to submit a travel report after the event.

Young Members Grant

In addition to the standard Travel Grant, members under the age of 26 are eligible for a one-time additional grant of €250, providing extra support for their first international Round Table event.

Club Travel Funds

Several local Tables operate their own travel funds to further assist members with the costs of attending national and international events.

Exchange Agreements

Round Table Austria maintains Exchange Agreements with several national associations. These partnerships promote international visits, strengthen friendships across borders, and typically include event registration and accommodation. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Round Table Belgium

Benjamin Tour

The Benjamin Tour rewards the youngest Tabler from each district with a board-funded international trip. The initiative encourages young members to become involved in the international Round Table community early in their membership.

Travel Fund

Round Table Belgium provides financial assistance through a dedicated Travel Fund, helping members cover travel expenses when attending national and international events.

Travel Bingo

The Travel Bingo is an incentive programme through which young Tablers have the opportunity to win a sponsored international trip, encouraging participation in international events and exchanges.

Round Table Germany

Benjamin Tour

The Benjamin Tour is aimed at the youngest member of each German district. Every district nominates its youngest Tabler to attend the Central and Eastern European Tablers Meeting (CEETM). The programme gives new members the opportunity to gain international experience, build friendships, and become part of the wider Round Table network.

First Time Bonus

Members who have been part of Round Table for less than 24 months may apply for the First Time Bonus. This programme offers a limited number of sponsored tickets for selected national events, including the German AGM, Funta and Charter Celebrations. Its purpose is to encourage new members to participate in major Round Table events.

Exchange Agreements

Round Table Germany maintains Exchange Agreements with several national associations. These partnerships facilitate international visits, strengthen friendships between countries, and make it easier for members to attend events abroad.

Round Table Great Britain & Ireland

New Generation Travel Fund

The New Generation Travel Fund supports Tablers under the age of 30 by helping finance their participation in national and international Round Table events.

Round Table Trust

The Round Table Trust is an independent charitable organisation that provides grants for a variety of purposes, including supporting members who wish to attend Round Table events and broaden their international experience.

Ripple Fund

The Ripple Fund, operated by Round Table 41, is another independent initiative that provides financial assistance to young members attending Round Table events.

Round Table Luxembourg

Travel Fund for Young Tablers

Round Table Luxembourg operates a dedicated Travel Fund that assists young members in attending national and international Round Table events.

Travel Fund for New Tablers

A separate Travel Fund is available for new members, encouraging them to become active within the wider Round Table network from the beginning of their membership.

Exchange Agreements

Round Table Moldova supports international participation through Exchange Agreements with partner associations. These partnerships encourage cross-border visits and strengthen international friendships within the Round Table movement.
