Round Table International Events
During every calender year there are seven Round Table International events held.
World Meeting
The World Meeting marks the opening and closing of the RTI’s year. This includes the Annual General Meeting of RTI.
Half-Year Meeting
The Half Year Meeting takes place approximately six months away from the World Meeting. Previously, this interim meeting was referred to as the RTI IRO World Meeting but was changed to its current format in 2016.
Each of the five regions of RTI holds its own regional AGM and activities. These are:
-
- ASPA Tablers Meeting
- AMI Tabler’s Meeting
- CEE Tablers Meeting
- NEA Tablers Meeting
- SEM Tablers Meeting
Tabler.Events — Calendar of Events
As National IRO of Round Table Denmark, Jonas Midstrup launched 🔗tabler.events in 2022 to make it easier for his fellow Tablers to keep track of international Meetings. Over time, he expanded the platform to include HYMs, larger international events at the club or area level, and even events from C41, LC, TC, and AC. In 2024, he added a filtering function to help users navigate events more efficiently.
As the portal is not yet linked to tabler.world, he relies on being contacted directly to add new events to the list.
Discontinued Tabler Meetings
Over time, the function of specific meetings changes according to how the Round Table movement and its structures evolve. The following is a list of such meetings.
-
- IRO’s Meetings, replaced by the RTI Half Year Meetings.
- European Mediterranean Tabler’s Meeting (EMTM), which were replaced by;
European Mediterranean and America Table Meeting (EMATM), which in turn were replaced by the current regional meetings. - INDABA or RT Africa Tablers Meetings (RTATM)
Non-RTI Meetings
Some organisations organise events, which are not chaired by RTI, but still have an international aspect to them:
