RTI Half Year Meetings

RTI Half Year Meetings (HYMs), sometimes called Half Yearly Meetings, are mid-year gatherings where members review progress, plan future activities, and strengthen fellowship. They include updates on projects, strategic planning, leadership workshops, cultural exchange, and decision-making. HYMs also foster networking, recognize achievements, and ensure alignment with RTI’s goals.

Other RTI events include the World Meetings and the Regional Tablers Meetings.

Hosting an RTI Half Year Meeting

The host of an RTI Half Year Meeting (HYM) is chosen two years in advance through a bidding process. Member associations submit proposals, which are evaluated based on factors like accessibility, venue suitability, cost, and cultural appeal. Bids are presented during an AGM or meeting, followed by voting. The winning bid is announced, and the selected association organizes the event.

Forms for submission are on Tabler.World

Former Meeting Structure: IRO Meetings

The current structure of the RTI HYM replaced RTI IRO Meetings. These were gatherings of International Relations Officers (IROs) from Round Table associations to foster collaboration, share best practices, and strengthen global connections. They focused on promoting international fellowship, supporting growth, and planning key RTI events. These meetings have since evolved into broader RTI Board and Delegate Meetings.
