The Round Table of Durban No. 2 is the second oldest Table in Southern Africa. The Table’s inaugural meeting was held on the 6th of December 1950 and it was later officially chartered at the first ARTSA AGM in 1952.
Over the years Durban 2 has been involved in many projects that help support the community in and around the city of Durban. One such project was started in ’58 by John Conradie and culminated in the formation of TAFTA, an NPO which has an annual revenue of over R65 million a year

Club Logo Symbolism
The logo has clear maritime symbolism, from its ship’s anchor and the handles of the captain’s wheel. This shows the important connection the city has to the Danube river. The charge of the logo shows the Giurgiu Clocktower, a historic landmark of the city.
