Round Table Germany with the rest of the RT family in Germany, launched an extensive humanitarian project to provide aid to people affected by the war in Ukraine. Their aid convoy, supported by an established network spanning Germany, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria, facilitated the swift collection and delivery of crucial humanitarian and medical supplies. Since the invasion began, the project successfully transported over 300 trucks carrying 2,831 tons of relief goods. With more than €4.5 million in donations received, the initiative was instrumental in addressing urgent needs, ensuring supplies reached affected communities through secure handover points near the Ukrainian border.
The project operated through targeted assistance, responding to daily lists of needs from Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania. Medical supplies were prioritized for Ukraine, while food and hygiene products supported refugees in neighboring countries. The initiative built on past efforts such as the “Friends help! convoy” and the “Christmas parcel convoy,” demonstrating sustained commitment to humanitarian aid. Volunteers and logistical networks worked tirelessly to manage ongoing transport efforts, reinforcing solidarity with Ukraine. Given the prolonged crisis and fragile medical infrastructure, the project anticipated long-term involvement and urged continued support through both in-kind and monetary donations.
