Younger than the Youngest

The Project:

This initiative targets younger members to lower the average age of the club. Engaging with members younger than the youngest current member can inspire others in the same age group, especially within Gen Z. This creates a snowball effect, boosting membership.

While all new members are welcome, those over 35 in an association with a 40-year age limit will only contribute for a short time due to their limited tabling lifespan. These members, although valuable, may not be able to take on leadership roles or attract younger members, such as 25-year-olds. Introducing a 25-year-old member is far more beneficial than adding five members aged 37–42. The goal is to lower the club’s average age.

How to Start:

    1. Engage with Gen Z: Be attractive to them through social media, using it effectively to connect.
    2. Analyze the local community: Understand what Gen Z cares about, supports, and values.
    3. Focus on P.R.O.: This is crucial for growth. Choose a passionate person to create engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok—each tailored to different age groups.
    4. Organize events: Host both casual and impactful events, from informal meet-ups to ones featuring key speakers. Support causes that Gen Z cares about to make a lasting impact.

Individual Commitment to Group Effort:

Our association is bottom-up, meaning the foundation is key. A strong, engaged base will end membership struggles and eventually lead to members joining National or International Boards. Success requires dedication to a good team and a desire to make a difference. Whether you’re a President, Vice President, Past President, or floor member, it’s time to drive change and not wait for it.
