Logo
With the return of the Este family in the 14th century, the citizens of Modena began to identify under a unified two-tone emblem of yellow and blue, which still represents the City of Modena today. Inspired by these colors, the emblem of the Tavola di Modena is adorned with two symbols typical of the city.
The canary, already a sporting icon of the city, characterized by its yellow plumage, agility in flight, and melodious song, represents freedom, joy, and care in relationships—values with which the Tavola identifies and seeks to uphold.
In blue, the unmistakable bell tower symbol of the city of Modena is depicted: the Ghirlandina, whose name derives from the balustrades that crown its spire, which appear to passersby as “graceful as garlands.”
Previous Version
The previous generation banner consisted of the symbol of the number 8, consisting of two important elements for the club:
-
- RT Italy rondel at the bottom, as was its design in the 80s/90s
- The rose window of the Cathedral of the city, known as the “Cattedrale Metropolitana di Santa Maria Assunta e San Geminiano“but colloquially known as simply “Duomo di Modena”
