Location: Rome, Lazio, Italy
Table Number: 2
Zone: 5
Current Status: Active
Charter Date: 1959 or 1960
Recharter Date: 5th April 2025

Originally the second table ever chartered in Italy after Milan and a founder of the Italian RT Association, Round Table Roma carries a legacy rooted in the heart of the Eternal City. After a period of dormancy, the table has been proudly rechartered in 2025, marking a vibrant return amid Italy’s renewed tabling momentum. Once again, Rome stands as a pillar of fellowship, service, and international brotherhood.

Logo

The logo features the iconic Colosseum; the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. Behind it, as one expects, one finds the rondel of the Italian Association.

Previous Version

Tablers in Rome have an immense wealth of imagery and cultural references to draw from. In the 1980s and 90s, the Capitoline Wolf—an iconic bronze sculpture depicting the legend of Rome’s founding—was a prominent symbol used on their banners. The statue shows a she-wolf nursing the mythical twin founders, Romulus and Remus, and is housed in the Capitoline Museums in Rome.
