Round Table Iceland and Ladies Circle Iceland have a long-standing tradition of hosting their AGMs side by side, creating an unforgettable weekend filled with friendship, celebration, and a bit of organized chaos.
The AGM weekend traditionally includes a themed party on Friday night and a grand gala dinner on Saturday evening. Round Table Iceland holds its AGM meeting on Friday afternoon, while Ladies Circle Iceland hosts its AGM meeting on Saturday morning.
The weekend reaches its peak at the gala dinner, featuring award ceremonies, speeches, and the formal exchange of chains between outgoing and incoming chairpersons and boards. It’s a proud and emotional moment, usually followed by dancing long into the night.
In recent years, the celebrations have grown even bigger, with the festivities often starting on Thursday night with a welcome party for those who are eager to get the weekend started early. After all, one night of partying simply isn’t enough for Tablers and Circlers.
